When Jesus heard the news of his friend’s illness, He knew it was to glorify the Father and bring glory to Himself (Jn. 11:1-4); Jesus’ intentional delay (Jn. 11:6-10) will give Him an opportunity to reveal His power to those closest to Him (Jn. 11:11-16).
