Jesus’s interactions with those in need (John 11:28-31) and His response to the greatest human need (John 11:32-37) is always for the purpose of revealing God to the world (John 11:38-44).  

God’s free righteousness to all peoples in Christ (Rom 3:21-31; 11:32-36) compels us to edify the local church community (Rom 12:1-2; 15:1-7).  

Facing the fact of death (John 11:17-19), brings opportunity to express our faith in Jesus as the eternal Son of God come into the world to bring eternal life to the dead (John 11:20-27).
